Who runs the CougarMail e-mail service?
The CougarMail e-mail forwarding system is provided free of charge by the Washington State University Alumni Association, with technical services provided by First Step Internet.

Will my free e-mail forwarding stay free?
Yes! In the event that e-mail becomes obsolete as a communication medium, WSU will make reasonable effort to provide a substitute means of communication using contemporary technology.

What about my privacy?
WSU will guard the privacy of CougarMail users' e-mail correspondence and information provided when registering for the service. Washington State University does not sell mailing lists for non-university use. All information collected is used only to run CougarMail. We do not put ads in e-mail forwarded through CougarMail.

Can my service be terminated?
Washington State University reserves the right to terminate service to anyone using any service of CougarMail for illegal activities or in a way that is deemed a nuisance to other members of the service. Use of any CougarMail service for commercial solicitations is strictly prohibited and will be subject to immediate termination of service. WSU reserves the right to terminate service should it be disclosed that the registration information provided was untrue.
